Hi, I'm Katie!
Looks like you want to get to know me a little better, that's why you clicked on the About page after all. Great news! I know a lot about me and would love to share with you, probably more than you expecting though. I'll try and go in somewhat of an order of what you shouold probably know about me to give you context about each aspect of my website.
I love aquariums and fish keeping. I have been seriously keeping aquariums since 2021 and have two five gallon tanks and two ten gallon tanks. Betta fish are my favorite fish, both in general and to keep in the hobby, so I have three, and because you can't keep betta fish together typically, they take up three individual tanks. I also keep varius colors of neocaridina shrimp in the betta tanks as well. And my last tank, a ten gallon, is inhabited by a red claw crab.
Another thing about me is that I love to crochet and I love to teach people to crochet. I learned to crochet in 2019, my neighbor taught me, and have been obsessed ever since. It was a skill I was able to improve without much guidance from other people and so I was able to improve relatively quickly even though I moved away from my neighbor and no one else around me crocheted. And ever since improving to a competant level, I have enjoyed getting my friends also obsessed with crochet by teaching them, a big improvement from no one else around me crocheting.
I have a phone camera and only know how to hit the big button. Now you get to see the results of my labor. From cool bugs to dead animals, I have many photos to offer for your enjoyment or horror, either is fine with me.
Minecraft has been an obsession since I was ten-years-old and had a kindle with the seven dollar pocket edition, though I have since upgraded my set-up. Some of my fondest childhood memories were playing with my younger brother on our shared world with my box of a house, and sitting at my dad's computer playing with my cousin who lived several states away on my uncle's realm bonding in a way we never otherwise would have had the opportunity to. Minecraft for me is about bringing people closer together.
